titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF PEPTIDE ALCOHOLS
abstract The process for the preparation of solid phase peptide alcohols, in particular those having two alcoholic or one alcoholic and one thiol group at the c-terminus of the peptide chain, is applicable in the chemical industry, in particular in the production of pharmacologically active peptide alcohols. With it, the separation of the alcohol from the resin takes place under mild reaction conditions. The process for the preparation of peptide alcohols of general formula in which y is a peptide alcohol residue containing protecting groups, r1 is a hydrogen atom or methyl and x is an oxygen or sulfur atom is carried out by the peptide alcohol bonded via an acetal group to a resin, containing formylphenyl residues is cleaved from the resin by acid hydrolysis at room temperature in the presence of dilute acid. The resulting product is in the solid phase and contains protecting groups. 4 claims
