titleOfInvention Method for the preparation of nutritive hydrolysate from chrome tanned leather wastes by means of membrane filtration
abstract The nutritive product is applied as highly concentrated and purified additive to foods for animals and microorganisms. The method is simplified, and its time and energy consumption are reduced. The protein hydrolysate is produced by acid-alkaline treatment by alternation of sodium base and sulphuric acid, washing to neutral reaction, purification and concentration by ultrafiltration by recirculation washing using deionized water. The peptide hydrolysate produced is further degradated to elementary amino acids by acid hydrolysis and is concentrated by reverse osmosis.
