Method for preparation of isopropenyl esters |
abstract |
The produced compounds find application as intermediate products for preparing of vitamins A, E and K1. The method is realized at atmosphere pressure, the process being simplified and the explosion hazard being on the decrease. The isopropenyl esters have formula where R is CH3 or C2H5 and they are prepared at interaction of C1-C2 aliphatic alcohols with methylacetylene or allene or with a mixture of methylacetylene and allene at a high temperature - from 200 to 2750C, in the presence of zinc dinitrate as catalyst with an active carbon or silica gel as catalyst carrier (?). |
