abstract The useful model refers to a cosmetic composition that contains exopolysaccharide and biomass, the exopolysaccharide being glucomannan. Exopolysaccharide and biomass were obtained biotechnologically from the red yeast producer Sporobolomyces salmonicolor AL1, Accession No. 8290, deposited on 04.12.2003 and selected from Antarctic soil samples. Exopolysaccharide is a very good emulsifier and emulsion stabilizer, and biomass contains biologically active substances with antioxidant activity leading to a delay in skin aging processes. In the beneficial model, these two components are combined in optimal proportions and, in combination with the other ingredients of the present utility model, show unexpectedly good effects when applied as cosmetic products - creams, lotions,
