abstract |
The formulation has two components: a) a pharmaceutically active agent and a water-insoluble but water-permeable polymer and b) a pharmaceutically active agent and a hydrophobic material. By changing the ratio of pharmaceutically active agent and water-insoluble but water-permeable polymer included in component (a) and / or the ratio of pharmaceutically active agent and hydrophobic material included in component (b), an ideal release rate can easily be achieved with reduced risk of dumping and side effects. |
