abstract | The composition and the scouring method are used for scraping in mass, in an acidic medium of paper, comprising up to 100% mixed paper waste. The scouring composition comprises from 4 to 10 kg of colophony clay as absolute dry matter per tonne of absolute dry fiber mass, from 6 to 30 kg of aluminum sulphate as a solid crystalline hydrate of the formula Al 2 (SO 4) of 3.18 H 2 O per tonne of dry fiber, from 40 to 180 kg of sulfuric acid as 100% acid per tonne of absolute dry fiber mass and from 20 to 50 kg of calcium hydroxide as absolute dry per tonne of absolute dry fiber mass. The scrubbing process is carried out by first applying the rosin slurry to the fibrous slurry, then the aluminum sulfate and the sulfuric acid point, which provides a transport delay of the fibrous slurry for at least 90 minutes until it enters the suction part of the mixing pump. The adjustment of the pH of the fibrous slurry in the range 4.5-5.0 at the outlet of the mixing pump is followed by dosing of calcium hydroxide in the suction part. |
