abstract | The drug is used in medicine to treat purulent and necrotizing wounds. It has fast and powerful action in dissolving the pus and necrotizing tissue and is easy to use. It can be stored at room temperature for two years while maintaining its proteolytic activity. The preparation contains in%: purified alkaline and neutral proteinases from 0.01 to 8, salts such as calcium and magnesium chloride, sodium bicarbonate from 0.05 to 5, an antiseptic such as 5-nitro-8-oxyquinoline or sulfaguanidine from 0.01 to 4, from 1 to 25, sucrose from 5 to 35, glycerol from 5 to 90 and water from 3 to 35. |
