abstract The condenser is used in the manufacture of devices that accumulate electricity. It has improved electrical characteristics. For this purpose, a nickel oxide electrode is used in combination with an electrode made of activated carbon and an electrolyte which is an aqueous solution of an alkali metal hydroxide or carbonate. To increase the power, the carbon material used for one of the electrodes is metallized with nickel or copper.
