ORGANOALUMINOXIDE PRODUCT, CATALYTIC SYSTEMS, PREPARATION AND USE |
abstract |
The organoaluminium product is prepared by a process involving the reaction of an organoaluminoxane with an enol compound. In another embodiment, the organoaluminoxane can be prepared in situ by a process involving reacting a hydrocarbyl aluminum compound, water and an enol compound. Catalytic polymerization systems for olefins are composed of the organoaluminium oxide product and at least one transition metal catalyst. Optionally, the catalytic system may be subjected to pre-polymerization in the presence of at least one olefin to provide a catalytic prepolymerization system. The invention also relates to methods for the polymerization of olefins by means of a catalytic system. |
