COMPOSITIONS INCLUDING N-MORPHOLINO-N-NITROSOMAINACETONETRYL AND CYCLODEXTRIN |
abstract |
The new complexes are stable in the solid state and are formed from N-morpholino-N-nitrosoaminoacetonitrile (SIN-1A) and cyclodextrin or cyclodextrin derivatives, optionally containing ions as a catalyst or stabilizer. The complexes release nitrous oxide at room temperature when dissolved in water or water systems. Preferably the ions are anions of carboxylic and / or inorganic acids and / or alkali and / or ammonium cations. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions and kits containing these complexes. The kits can be used as NO separation standards, with NO being released in a predetermined amount and speed at dissolution in an aqueous medium. The complexes are prepared by subjecting 3-morpholinoisondinimine (SIN-1) at a suitable pH of the catalytic activity of ions for displacement of equilibrium to SIN-1A formation in the presence of cyclodextrin or derivatives thereof capable of being incorporated into a complex. The formed SIN-1A immediately binds to a complex, optionally containing ions. The components are mixed or ground whole or oxygen-free aqueous solutions containing these components are lyophilized and then re-dried under vacuum |
