titleOfInvention 23,23-DIFLUORO-25-HYDROXY-ET 1ALPHA, 25-DIHYDROXY-VITAMIN D3.
abstract New derivatives of vitamin D, 23, 23-difluoro-25-hydroxy- and 1alpha-dihydroxy-cholecalciferol and their acylates. (I) These compounds are characterized by vitamin D-like activity as it has been able to be demonstrated by their ability to increase the intestinal transit of calcium and the calcium content of serum. They are further characterized by their resistance to C23 hydroxylation. These compounds are useful against rickets.
