titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR ISOLATING BACTERIA IN BLOOD AND INSTRUMENT FOR CARRYING OUT THIS PROCESS. |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for isolating bacteria from the blood. According to this process, the blood to be examined is mixed with a liquid containing a hemolytic reagent and an anticoagulant. The resulting mixture is filtered through a filter having pores of a size which does not allow the bacteria to be separated to pass. Nutrients are then supplied to the bacteria present on the filter through the mixture so as to immediately cultivate the bacteria present on the filter. |
