The invention relates to a process for the production of hydrogen peroxide by the reaction of carbon monoxide, oxygen and water in the presence of a catalyst for a group 8 noble metal. This reaction is carried out in a solution for treating water and at least one oxygenated organic solvent chosen from the group comprising nitriles and carbonyl compounds as well as in the presence of a compound of a noble metal from group 8 as catalyst. |
