abstract To determine the nitrogen content of the sample, which is dissolved in nitrogen-free acid in a flask (2) whose gas chamber is in communication with a bubbling solution (16) in which are collected , after adding alkaline detergent to the liquid in solution, volatile ammonium compounds which have formed in the flask, a reflux cooler (5) and a liquid divider (4) are used, by which condensate is returned to the flask and by which the bubbling container (15) is connected to the reflux cooler.
