abstract The invention relates to the use of a composition containing glycerol tri butyrate, glycerol mono laurate and zinc oxide in feed for pigs, preferably suckling pigs. The composition acts as an immunity enhancing agent, and thus prevents, among other things, the occurrence of diarrhea in weaning pigs. Preferably, the composition contains the zinc oxide in an amount by weight comprised between 50 and 200 g and the glycerol tri butyrate and glycerol mono laurate together in an amount by weight included between 4 and 6 kg per ton of feed. The invention also relates to feeds containing such compositions.
