COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF TREATMENT |
abstract |
The present invention relates to nucleic acid constructs capable of encoding antigenic peptides or polypeptides from multiple early human papillomavirus (HPV) proteins, and immunogenic compositions comprising such nucleic acid constructs and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. These nucleic acid constructs and immunogenic compositions are useful in the treatment of persistent HPV infection and low-grade HPV lesions, particularly infections and lesions of human anogenital epithelial tissue, such as cervical epithelium. . |
