abstract |
This method of manufacturing a zirconia ceramic piece homogeneously colored throughout the entire volume of the part comprises the following successive steps: (a) preparation of a zirconia paste by mixing at least one sinterable zirconia powder at least one photocurable binder, at least one photoinitiator and at least one plasticizer; (b) preparation by the technique of additive processes of a ceramic white piece from the zirconia paste prepared in step (a); (c) debinding the ceramic white piece obtained in step (b); (d) pre-sintering the white piece obtained in step (c) for a period of time and at a temperature chosen so that the white piece has an intergranular microporosity between 10 and 60% by volume; (e) staining the presintered piece obtained in step (d) by dipping in a coloring solution comprising a solvent and at least one salt or dye oxide selected to stain the piece in the desired color; and (f) sintering the workpiece obtained in step (f). |
