PROCESS FOR PURIFYING AQUEOUS LACTIC ACID SOLUTION |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for the purification of an aqueous lactic acid solution in which a) concentration of the lactic acid solution is carried out until a concentration of between 85 and 95% is reached. in a single step of the concentrated stream obtained in (a) in a stream comprising purified lactic acid, a stream comprising volatile impurities and a stream comprising heavier impurities. After concentration of the lactic acid solution, the concentrated solution can be stored for a maximum of 24 hours. |
