abstract An improved water sterilizer and an improved water sterilization method using solar energy. The improved water sterilizer consists of one or more glass tubes that are very suitable for absorbing and retaining solar light that is converted into heat, characterized in that the glass tubes are held together by a system of tension rods that ensure that the tubes pass through the the overpressure created during sterilization cannot slide out of the collector. The supporting beams of this construction must have the necessary stiffness and strength.
