titleOfInvention | Peroxydicarbonate organic solution dialkyl, method for obtaining, preparing halogenated polymers for intervention thereof and halogenated polymers obtained. |
abstract | The invention relates to a process for the preparation in two stages of an organic solution of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate with long alkyl chains particularly suitable for the polymerization in aqueous suspension of halogenated monomers. According to this process, an inorganic salt is used in the step of preparation of dialkyl peroxydicarbonate (first step) and it is then separated by extraction using a solvent insoluble in water (second step). The dialkyl peroxydicarbonates with long alkyl chains, preferably of diethylhexyl, are used in the polymerization in aqueous suspension of halogenated monomers in the form of a solution in a liquid and water-insoluble dialkyl alkanedicarboxylate. The preferred solvents are liquid and water-insoluble dialkyl alkanedicarboxylates derived from C4 to C10 alkanedicarboxylic acids and C2 to C12 alkanols. The peroxydicarbonate concentration of said solutions is approximately 15 to 50% by weight. The process according to the invention produces polymers of improved purity. |
