A manufacturing process for animal food. |
abstract |
A food additive supplement made in the form of a dust-free powder substitute containing 0.25-2.0% mineral oil is prepared by dosing and delivering a desired amount of base substance to a mixer (6) via a dosing and mixing hopper (4). The individual food additives are weighed and conveyed to the mixer (6). An aerosol of mineral oil and air is formed and, during the mixing of the dry ingredients, the aerosol is injected into the mixer (6). The drops of mineral oil adhere to the dust of the substance produced, the particle size of which reaches 400 to 1000 microns. An apparatus intended for the manufacture of such a food supplement is also described. |
