SUBSTRATES FOR PREPARING A COMESTIBLE MEAT PRODUCT nABSTRACT nThe substrates, systems, and methods described herein relate to textured substrates for npreparing a comestible meat product. Substrates and methods are described herein for ncontrolling one or more of growth, adhesion, retention, and/or release of cells (e.g., of a cell nsheet) on or from the surface of the substrate. One embodiment provides a substrate for growing na comestible meat product, wherein the substrate includes a surface texture created by a plurality nof parallel features extending along a length of the substrate, wherein the plurality of parallel nfeatures promote cell alignment. |
