abstract There is disclosed an imaging system projecting augmented information on a physical object, nthe imaging system comprising: na processor; na memory device operably connected to the processor, the memory device storing naugmented image information; na projector operably coupled to the processor, the processor configured to project naugmented image information onto the physical object; na distance-measuring device operably connected to the processor and configured to ndetermine a topology of the physical object; and nthe processor using the topology from the distance measuring device to adjust the naugmented image information, the processor providing the adjusted augmented image ninformation to the projector, the adjusted augmented image information allowing the projector nto focus the augmented image information in multiple planes on the physical object.
