Control of nematodes |
abstract |
The invention relates to a method for control of nematode load in an animal or a plurality of nanimals. The method comprises exposing the faeces of the animal(s) to nematode larval ndevelopment inhibitor bacteria. This may decrease the number of larvae that can re-infest the nanimal, thus reducing parasite burden. The method may comprise feeding a composition ncomprising the bacteria to the animal(s) or may comprise applying a composition comprising nthe bacteria directly to the faeces. |
