abstract PUTRALONE: A NOVEL 1OA-HYDROXY-25-NOR D: A FRIEDOnOLEANANE TRITERPENOID FROM PUTRANJIVA ROXBURGHII n(WALL) nAbstract nThe work is related to isolation of Putralone, a novel lOa-hydroxy-25-nor D: A friedo-oleanane ntriterpenoid from Putranjiva roxburghii (Wall). The Putralone exhibited a positive LiebermannnBurchard reaction for triterpenoids. Analysis of HNMR spectrum (CD30D, 600MHz) has been ncarried out. Some important HMBC and NOESY correlations of Putralone have also been nperformed.
