abstract | Disclosed is an aqueous pesticidal concentrate composition comprising at least one nparticulate microencapsulated acetamide pesticide dispersed in aqueous liquid, and a nmethod that modulates the release rate of said microencapsulated pesticide in a mixture. The nmicroencapsulated pesticide comprises a herbicide comprising a water-immiscible core ncomposed of a polyurea shell wall containing the core material, wherein the acetamide nherbicide concentration is at least 10 wt.%. The polyurea shell wall is formed by npolymerization of a polyisocyanate and a polyamine, and the molar ratio of amine in the npolyamine to isocyanate in the polyisocyanate is at least 1.01:1. The herbicidal concentrate ncomprises a polyvalent metal cation release modulating agent with a molecular weight no ngreaterthan 1000 g/mol. The molar ratio of polyvalent metal cation to amine in the polyamine ncomponent is 0.05:1 to 10:1 and the composition may comprise an acidic co-herbicide.
