A refrigeration apparatus (100) includes a heat source unit (10), a utilization unit (20A), and a liquid refrigerant pipe (31) and gas refrigerant pipe (32). The utilization unit (20A) has utilization unit internal pipelines (29a to 29c). The liquid refrigerant pipe (31) and the gas 5 refrigerant pipe (32) connect the heat source unit (10) and the utilization unit internal pipelines (29a to 29c). A refrigerant circulates through the heat source unit (10), the utilization unit (20A), the liquid refrigerant pipe (31), and the gas refrigerant pipe (32). The refrigerant contains a compound represented by a molecular formula having one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds.
