titleOfInvention | Oxidation resistant red fluorescent proteins and use thereof |
abstract | We disclosed a red fluorescent protein R3, which is oxidation resistant and noligomer-formation resistant, constructed by removing its cysteine residues. The R3 protein n5 is highly soluble and displays intense red color and fluorescence. We also disclosed a fusion nprotein of the R3 protein joined by a nanobody as an example of coloring a bioactive protein. nThe stable red fluorescent protein, as a tracer molecule, will be a valuable tool in location nand quantitation of bioactive proteins. |
