abstract |
The invention discloses application of GhPRXR1 protein and coding gene nthereof in regulating and controlling oil content of cottonseed. The invention clones ncotton GhPRXR1 gene from upland cotton material Msco-12, successfully nconstructing yeast over-expression vector and transforming saccharomyces cerevisiae. nCompared with the trans-empty vector yeast control, the oil content of the 3 positive ntransgenic yeasts is respectively improved by 20.01%, 34.79% and 37.25%. The ninvention also successfully constructs a virus-induced GhPRXR1 gene silencing nvector and transforms upland cotton Msco-12. The average oil content of 6 nGhPRXR1 gene silencing cotton positive individual mature cottonseed is reduced by n18.11% compared with that of 3 control individual mature cottonseeds, indicating nthat the GhPRXR1 gene can regulate and control oil content of cottonseed, having ngreat value in improving the cottonseed yield and cotton breeding. n1 |
