titleOfInvention | Nanoliposome-microbubble assembly encapsulating hair loss treatment drug and composition comprising same for alleviation or treatment of hair loss |
abstract | The present invention relates to a nanoliposome-microbubble assembly encapsulating a hair loss treatment drug such as finasteride, minoxidil, dutasteride, or the like and a composition comprising same for alleviation or treatment of hair loss. Because oral preparations for current use as hair loss treatment agents, such as finasteride, cause various side effects due to oral administration, drug delivery through application to the scalp is most preferable. However, this is disadvantageous in that application to the scalp alone does not achieve the smooth delivery of the drug to hair follicle cells. In addition, hair loss treatment drugs for use in skin external application also exhibit various side effects and thus concentration thereof for application needs to be reduced. Therefore, it is important to increase the drug delivery efficiency of finasteride with the aid of a delivery support. The use of the nanoliposome-microbubble assembly of the present invention can augment the delivery efficiency of a hair loss treatment drug used at a low concentration and thus can very effectively treat androgenic alopecia. |
