titleOfInvention | Lead-acid battery |
abstract | Provided is a lead-acid battery which includes a negative plate, a positive plate, and an electrolyte, the negative plate including a negative current collector and a negative electrode material. In a condition in which, in the Log differential pore volume distribution of the negative electrode material, a region with pore diameters of 1 to 3 μm is defined as a P region, a region with pore diameters of 6 to 15 μm as a Q region, the maximum value of the Log differential pore volume in the P region as P, and the maximum value of the Log differential pore volume in the Q region as Q, the Log differential pore volume distribution of the negative electrode material after initial decay, during use, or after 1220 cycles in a light-load endurance test has a peak p corresponding to the maximum value P in the P region and a peak q corresponding to the maximum value Q in the Q region, and the maximum value P and the maximum value Q satisfy the relation 0.25≤P/(P+Q)≤0.63. |
