titleOfInvention | Wearable medication administration device |
abstract | A medication administration device and method of its use is provided. The device has a nflexible tube having an administration end, an activation end and a lumen between the nends. An administration assembly is attached to the administration end. An activation nassembly is attached to the activation end. A syringe is disposed within the lumen. The nsyringe contains the medication and has a first end and an opposite second end. A plunger nis disposed within the lumen and operatively connected to the first end of the syringe. A nrupturable seal is provided to the second end of the syringe, which end is approximate to nthe administration end. The activation assembly activates the plunger to break the nrupturable seal to establish a fluid communication between the second end of the syringe nand the administration assembly. Accordingly, transportation of the medication from the nsyringe to the medication administration assembly through the medication administration nend is allowed.nWO2015/095095 PCT/US2014/070438 n4/13 n12 nFIG. 5 n18/23 16 n6 7 15 n14 n2 nFIG. 63 |
