titleOfInvention Method employing an experiment to measure shortest spontaneous combustion period of coal
abstract A method employing an experiment to measure the shortest spontaneous combustion period of coal, pertaining to coal testing methods. The method comprises: performing, in an air flow having a preset oxygen concentration, a series of temperature-programmed experiments at a temperature increasing at a constant rate, performing processing to obtain functional equations E(α), g(α), and A(α) describing how respective dynamic parameters and a most probable mechanism function change along with a conversion rate during a moisture evaporation stage and an oxygen-absorbing weight increasing stage, selecting multiple temperatures from the temperature-programmed experiments, conducting constant-temperature experiments in an air flow having the preset oxygen concentration, performing processing to obtain a functional equation T(α) describing how the temperature at each stage changes along with the conversion rate, obtaining time intervals required for the moisture evaporation stage and the oxygen-absorbing weight increasing stage, and finding the sum of the same to obtain the shortest spontaneous combustion period of a coal sample on the basis of the experiment. The method solves the issues of complexity, inaccurate measurement, and long cycles in conventional methods employing an experiment to measure the shortest spontaneous combustion period of coal, and has the advantages of simplicity, a short measurement cycle, and accurate measurement results, thereby providing an important basis for directing on-site production of a coal mine.
