A method for preparing wool keratin cortex cells and the use thereof, which fall within the field of polymer material preparation. The preparation method comprises firstly pretreating wool with calcium hypochlorite/hydrogen peroxide, stripping wool scales before degrading the wool fiber cell membrane complex with an L-cysteine reducing agent/in combination with trypsin, and using ultrasound to further isolate wool cortex cells. Compared with other methods, the method has a milder effect and a strong directed-degradation effect on the wool keratin cell membrane complex, and not only can the cortical cells be efficiently isolated, but also the prepared cortical cells are not significantly damaged. The wool keratin cortical cells prepared by the method can be used for preparing thermal insulation and vibration-absorptive porous materials, and can also be used as reinforcing materials to prepare polylactic acid composite films. |
