OCULAR IMPLANT MADE BY A DOUBLE EXTRUSION PROCESS nAbstract nThe invention provides biodegradable implants sized for implantation in an ocular nregion and methods for treating medical conditions of the eye. The implants are formed ns from a mixture of hydrophilic end and hydrophobic end PLGA, and deliver active agents ninto an ocular region without a high burst release. Preferably the implant is made by a ndouble extrusion process. Preferably at least 75% of the particles of the active agent have a ndiameter of less than 10 or 20 microns. |
