titleOfInvention Microfluidic perfusion device, system and fabrication method thereof
abstract The microfluidic perfusion device includes a chamber that contains and cultures cells therein, a porous membrane that is reversibly attached onto the chamber and a perfusion layer that includes at least one channel with an inlet and an outlet and a fluid opening therebetween. The chamber has a chamber opening. The porous membrane covers the chamber opening. The chamber, the membrane, and the perfusion layer form a multilayer vessel. The fluid opening is positioned to matches the position of the chamber opening with the membrane sandwiched therebetween. Perfusion fluid infused from the inlet during use can flow from the fluid opening into the chamber through the porous membrane such that the shear stress of the perfusion fluid entering the chamber can be minimized. 103(1) 104 103(2) 110 112 105
