R-~\d\1atrwove\R rbDCC\D)ER\i5583164_ Ido -2/82 7 A diagnostic method for detecting an abnormality in a patient's head, the method comprising: placing a headset on the patient's head, wherein the headset comprises: a first transmitter; a second transmitter located on the headset separate and apart from the first transmitter; a receiver located on the headset separate and apart from the first and second transmitters; and a processor coupled with the first and second transmitters and the receiver; transmitting a first time-varying magnetic field into the patient's head with the first transmitter; receiving the first time-varying magnetic field with the receiver; transmitting a second time-varying magnetic field into the patient's head with the second transmitter; receiving the second time-varying magnetic field with the receiver; determining, using the processor, a first phase shift between the transmitted first time varying magnetic field and the received first time-varying magnetic field for a plurality of frequencies of the transmitted first time-varying magnetic field; determining, using the processor, a second phase shift between the transmitted second time-varying magnetic field and the received second time-varying magnetic field for a plurality of frequencies of the transmitted second time-varying magnetic field; comparing, with the processor, the first phase shift with the second phase shift; and determining a presence of an abnormality in the patient's head, based on the comparing of the first and second phase shifts.
