titleOfInvention | Apparatus and methods for integrated sample preparation, reaction and detection |
abstract | An apparatus, comprising a heater assembly and an optics assembly coupled to the heater assembly. The heater assembly comprises a receiving block coupled to a first heating module, wherein the receiving block comprises a reaction volume, a first lumen and a second lumen. The optics assembly comprises a slide assembly comprising a slide block slidably mounted on a slide rail, a first optical member and a second optical member, a plurality of excitation modules and a plurality of detection modules coupled to the slide block. The slide assembly is configured to sequentially move each of the plurality of excitation modules relative to the first optical member and to sequentially move each of the plurality of detection modules relative to the second optical member. The first optical member is in optical communication with the excitation module and the reaction volume via the first lumen and the second optical member is in optical communication with the reaction volume and the detection module via the second lumen. |
