abstract Provided is a composition that can be used to suppress microglia inflammation and is based on the discovery of oligopeptides that have a superior anti-inflammatory effect on microglia. The inflammation-suppressing action of dipeptides was comprehensively analyzed using the production of inflammatory cytokines in microglia as an indicator. The results clearly showed that oligopeptides containing an LH, DV, or MH sequence have a superior inflammation-suppressing effect. With compositions that include these oligopeptides, the present invention provides a composition that has the effect of suppressing excessive inflammatory action in microglia.
