abstract |
The present invention provides a medical instrument having a coating layer (lubrication layer) that exhibits exceptional lubricity and durability. This medical instrument is provided with a base material layer and a lubrication layer supported on at least a portion of the base material layer. The lubrication layer contains a block copolymer (A) composed of a structural unit derived from a reactive monomer having an epoxy group and a structural unit derived from at least one hydrophilic monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylamides and acrylamide derivatives, and a polymer (B) composed of a structural unit derived from at least one hydrophilic monomer selected from the group consisting of acrylamides and acrylamide derivatives. The block copolymer (A) is present in a ratio of 20 to 80% by weight with respect to the total weight of the block copolymer (A) and the polymer (B), and the block copolymer (A) is crosslinked or polymerized to form a network structure. |
