abstract The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for adipocyte differentiation induction and/or adipose tissue regeneration comprising, as an active ingredient, an exosome extracted from a stem cell which is differentiating into an adipocyte. The exosome is excellent in expression rate of bioactive factors influencing the differentiation into an adipocyte and has the effect of differentiating a stem cell into an adipocyte. Accordingly, the present invention can be applied to differentiation inducing agents of a stem cell, injections for tissue regeneration, fillers for cosmetic purposes, preparations for tissue engineering, etc. The invention also relates to a cosmetic composition for skin whitening, wrinkle improvement and regeneration, containing an exosome extracted from a stem cell as an active ingredient. Since the exosome contains genes, proteins, growth factors etc. associated with the proliferation, differentiation, and regeneration of stem cells; is a purified component that does not include antibiotics, serums or culture solution harmful factors; and is a cell-derived lipid transporter, the exosome can be applied to functional cosmetic compositions having skin whitening, wrinkle improvement and skin regeneration functions and scar improving preparations for cosmetic purposes, etc.
