abstract | Provided is an active energy ray-curable coating varnish with which external transfer from printed matter can be inhibited, and which is capable of simultaneously achieving excellent curability and excellent line suitability, in addition to low yellowing properties. This coating varnish includes a (meth)acrylate compound (A) and a photopolymerization initiator (B). At least one compound selected from the group consisting of ethylene oxide-modified pentaerythritol tetraacrylates, ethylene oxide-modified diglycerin tetraacrylates, ethylene oxide-modified trimethylolpropane triacrylates, and ethylene oxide-modified ditrimethylolpropane tetraacrylates, is used as the (meth)acrylate compound (A). Furthermore, 2-hydroxy-1—[4-[4-(2-hydroxy-2-methyl-propionyl)-benzyl]-phenyl]-2-methyl-propane-1-on (b1) and/or oligo[2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-[4-(1-methylvinyl)phenyl]propanone] (b2) are/is used as the photopolymerization initiator (B). |
