abstract The present invention relates to circular anastomosis stapler kits that deliver a therapeutic agent followed by stapling of tissue. Each circular anastomosis stapler (50) has a stapling head (60) with a shaft (70) extending from said stapling head and a removable anvil (100) and an interchangeable delivery head (300) for delivering a therapeutic agent into the tissue. The present invention also relates to methods for using the kits and devices therein.
