abstract |
Proposed is a method for separating a leaching residue from which can be obtained a hematite-containing material that can be used as a starting material for iron manufacturing, and provided is a production method that, from the leaching residue, generates hematite for iron manufacturing. The method for producing hematite for iron manufacturing and using as the starting material a leaching residue obtained from a hydrometallurgy plant of nickel oxide ore using a high-pressure acid leaching method is characterized by sequentially performing at least the two steps that are a step for separating the leaching residue into an underflow and an overflow using a wet cyclone and a step for separating the separated overflow using magnetic force into that which is strongly magnetic and that which is weakly magnetic, the step for separating using magnetic force using a high magnetic field magnetic separation device. |
