abstract |
The present invention provides a medical device which has a lubricating coating film (surface lubricating layer) that exhibits excellent lubricity and durability. A medical device according to the present invention comprises, on a base layer, a surface lubricating layer that is formed of a block copolymer which is composed of a hydrophilic portion and a hydrophobic portion having a reactive functional group. The abundance ratio of the hydrophobic portion of the block copolymer in the outermost surface of the surface lubricating layer is 20-45 mol%, and the 1 wt% chloroform solution of the block copolymer has a viscosity of 8-30 mPa·s in an environment at 30°C. |
