The objective of the present invention is to provide a solar cell that achieves superior photoelectric conversion efficiency even in the case that ultraviolet rays are blocked. The present invention is a solar cell characterized by having a negative electrode, a positive electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer disposed between the negative electrode and the positive electrode, and an electron transport layer disposed between the negative electrode and the photoelectric conversion layer, the electron transport layer containing titanium oxide and a pentavalent and/or hexavalent element. |
