abstract 5 In various embodiments, a mobile gaming device may interact with a point-of-sale terminal. In one exemplary embodiment, at least one server may receive an indication of a price of an item being paid by a person, wherein a merchant provides the item. The at least one server may receive an indication of an amount tendered by the person to the merchant to pay for the item, wherein the amount tendered by the person is greater than the price of the item by a difference, 10 the difference comprising an amount of change due to the person.
