Provided is a support for a planographic printing plate which is superior in scratch resistance, and by which a planographic printing original plate, which is superior in a removal property after being left for a while, in printing resistance, and in an on-the-machine development property when used as a planographic printing plate, can be obtained. The support for a planographic printing plate is provided with an aluminum plate and aluminum anodized film formed thereon, the anodized film comprises therein micro pores extending in a depth direction from a film surface opposite from the side of the aluminum plate, and the micro pore is comprised of a large diameter hole portion extending to a position having a depth of 5 to 60 nm (depth A) from the anodized film surface and having a predetermined average diameter, and a small diameter hole portion communicated with the bottom of the large diameter hole portion, extending to a depth of 900 to 2000 nm from the communication position, and having a predetermined average diameter. |
