abstract |
A device (1) for modulating PGC-1 expression which is provided with an ultrasonic wave transmission part (14) for irradiating ultrasonic wave to a subject living body. According to this construction, the device modulates the expression of PGC-1 and promotes angiogenesis in which VEGF participates. As a result, the angiogenesis can be promoted and an ischemic disease can be treated without imposing an excessive load on a patient. |
