abstract | The present invention relates to processes for preparing indoline compounds, comprising the steps of:a) reacting formula (I) and formula (II) to form a hydrazone; b) cyclization of the hydrazone in the presence of a Fischer catalyst to form a 3H-indole; c) reduction of the 3H-indole to form a 2,3-dihydro-indole; d) nitration of the 2,3-dihydro-indole to form a 6-nitro-2,3-dihydro-indole; e) acylation of the 6-nitro-2,3-dihydro-indole to form the protected 6-nitro-2,3- dihydro-indole; and f) conversion of the nitro group to form 6-amino-2,3-dihydro-indole. |
